Mr. Sachin Raj Jain is  the Managing Director of GICIA India Private Limited (GIPL) and has over 10 years of experience behind him directing various projects on Forest Certification, Sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment, LEED v4 Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Starbucks Ethical Sourcing, Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) FloorScore® certification, BIFMA level® certificate, Climate Change Adaptation, Monitoring & Evaluation, Afforestation and Ecology & Biodiversity Assessments.

Mr. Jain is an active member of many national and international associations and thinks tanks working in the area of Natural Resources Management and Sustainable Development. He has participated in the ICIMOD summits, World Forest Congress,FSC’s and PEFC’s international conferences on Forest Certification, and CII’s and FICCI’s Conferences on Sustainable Trade and Business. At present, he is serving as the convener-treasurer in the governing in the body of  “Network for Certification and Conservation of Forest” (NCCF), Which is the collaborative association of stakeholders for promoting and implementing National Forest Certification Standards in India.

Mr. Anil Kumar Singh is retired Assam PCCF and CEO of GICIA India Pvt. Ltd. He is an excellent environmentalist and proficient forester. He was involved in various forestry and water projects during his entire tenure, such as World Bank funded Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services Project, Working with the Ministry of Rural Development, India, Yamuna Action Plan (YAP –II), Ministry of Environment & Forests etc. He also led projects for third world countries such as with UN-HABITAT, ISTOM-France, UNICEF, WHO, DFID and UNDP. He also served as CEO of Sulabh International Academy of Environmental Sanitation. Over the years, he has actively contributed in conferences and workshops related to sustainability.

Developing, strengthening and leading sustainable forestry is his vision and mission. His expertise in water and sanitation sector has given a new dimension to his goal towards a sustainable environment. His multi-level exposure has allowed him to under problems at grassroots and work towards betterment.

Shilpa

Ms. Shilpa Naryal is is a sustainability strategist with expertise in sustainability and environmental conservation. She has a work experience of nine years, and in involved in premeditated associations with top management, senior government officials and financial institutes directed in bringing policy change for sustainability advisory and advocacy. She has previously worked with WWF-India, Ballarpur Industries, and Ernst & Young LLP. She has successfully represented some of the successful national projects related to the sustainable supply chain at Global platform in UK, South Africa, Chile, parts of Europe and South East Asia. She represents a central role in managing all sustainability certification programs and accreditation requirements. She holds Post graduation-Environment Management from University School of Environmental management (USEM) Indraprastha University Delhi.
