Due Diligence and Verification for Shipment
Due Diligence Statement is a mandatory requirement for compliance to EUDR. For Exporters verification of material is crucial and this is where our services come into play. GIPL offers Verification services of Shipments. The verifications reports are accompanied by DDS. These documents in-turn help your importer getting all the details of your supply chain together giving them a sense of security and peace.
GIPL-DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS
(In-line with European union deforestation regulation)
a) Submission of application: The applicant shall have to submit an application for GIPL- EUDR DDS to GICIA India Pvt Limited
b) Review of application & submission of application fee: A representative from GICIA shall review the application and based on the application a quotation along with documents required shall be sent to the applicant. The review process of the application takes 1-2 working days. The applicant is requested to deposit the requisite fee (as per their invoice amount and number of locations).
c) Submission of documents: The applicant is requested to submit the Chain of custody as well as documents/ evidences pertaining to legality(ex-Taxes, Royalties, Company registration, etc) within 5 working days via email. This would also include the Geolocations based on the source of origin.
d) Verification: A verification of the documents will be undertaken. The verification includes technological and/or Physical verification at the source of origin by one of the authorised auditor.
e) Issuance of certificate: After meeting all the compliances for EUDR- DDS are met, a Due diligence statement along with a report shall be generated . The Due Diligence statement will have a validity of (06) months.
