By far, GIPL in association with ICC-ES has a certified number of manufacturers of composite wood products (i.e. Hardwood Plywood – Veneer Core & Composite Core, Medium Density Fibreboard, thin Medium Density Fibreboard and Particleboard) in accordance with California Air Resources Board (CARB) Airborne Toxic Control Measure to Reduce Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products (ATCM) sections 93120-93120.12 and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Title VI, 40 CFR Part 770 requirements.

Safeboards standards & Certification Scheme
Safeboards Standards & Certification Scheme (SBCS) The Safeboards Standards & Certification Scheme (SBCS) is India’s first ever indigenously developed certification scheme to cap emissions from composite wood products in accordance with Safeboards Certification Standard-Version 1.0 (approved by NCCF). This is a scheme under which standards have been developed for voluntary certification of composite wood products for the benefit of the manufacturers, users, and other stakeholders.
